Specifire was established in 1984 to specialise in Fire Detection and Automatic Extinguishing Systems. In 1995, we expanded our offering by launching our Sprinkler Division, which has since grown to become the largest installer of fire protection and detection systems in KwaZulu-Natal.
From the beginning, our mission has been to provide trusted fire protection services that meet the rigorous demands of the industrial and commercial sectors.
Today, as a leading fire protection company in KZN, we offer full-scale design, installation, and maintenance of fire detection and suppression systems — serving clients across a wide range of industries including manufacturing, logistics, retail, and public infrastructure.

We’re proud to be the recipient of the ASIB Best Installation Award for our R11 million project at Unilever’s Durban facility — a comprehensive installation of sprinklers, fire detection, and FM-200 suppression systems that ASIB called “the best we have ever seen.”
